Senior Scrum Master

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Scrum Master within the Enterprise Functions Technology Group (EFT). This role will take on Senior Scrum Master responsibilities for supporting Wells Fargos Corporate Risk Technology.

As a Senior Scrum Master you will help enable and accelerate quality outcomes by assertively and proactively raising issues to influence change. Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our agile practice helping realize our vision to enable and continuously improve our Scrum Master and Kanban Lead community.

In this role you will:

• Facilitate the scrum and Kanban agile processes with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects non-projects or maintenance work
• Guide the agile delivery teams to follow Scrum and Kanban practices to actively promote prioritization team readiness and commitment for each Sprint
• Optimize agile team velocity churn predictability as applicable to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
• Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle business process mapping and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk compliance security and development requirements are met
• Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
• Facilitate the Agile ceremonies for the teams
• Collaborate with product owners product managers delivery partners and applicable extended stakeholders to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks impediments and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
• Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Interact with internal customers
• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function policies procedures and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 4 years of Agile Scrum Master experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
• 4 years of software development experience
• 4 years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
• 4 years of client relationship management experience
• 4 years of Agile experience
• 4 years of JIRA experience
• 4 years of Confluence WikiD experience
• 4 years of experience leading technical development teams
• Risk Management Experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to prioritize work meet deadlines achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
• Proficient in AI tools to support Scrum/Kanban Agile delivery (e.g. Google AI Notebook LM Tachyon)
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Outstanding problem solving skills
• Strong organizational multi-tasking and prioritizing skills

Job Expectations:

• Experience introducing improvements in his or her workplace through effective analysis critical thinking and innovation including demonstrated ability to present complex concepts options and recommendations in a manner that supports quality decision making.
• Experience in Scrum Kanban or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
