Self-Direction DSP - Auburn Area (Job #RD-TS/LS)
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite in the Auburn area to a 14yr old boy and a 13yr old boy with developmental delays. Their family is looking for a dedicated active individual to provide them with support and supervision both at home and in the community.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision at home accompanying them during community outings supporting them with health and safety needs and providing transportation as needed.
We are looking for an individual who is dependable patient enthusiastic and able to work independently. Valid drivers license reliable vehicle and a high school diploma or GED are required. Background check fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Hours: 11 to 18 hours per week available evenings and/or weekends. The family is looking for Tues & Wed (approximately 2:30pm - 5:00pm) and availability on the weekend for now. When summer school sessions start they will be looking for 12pm to 5:00pm Mon - Thurs Flexible schedule to be agreed upon with the family.
Pay rate: $18/hr for 1:1 for one boy; and $20/hr when 2:1 with both boys
