London School is a small rural school in the South Lane School District. We serve students from Preschool through 8th Grade. If you are looking to join a highly collaborative friendly supportive and compassionate staff we encourage you to apply! Please note: this position is temporary for the 2025-2026 school year and is a total of 5 work hours each day that school is in session.
Under the supervision of the building administrator and teaching staff the educational assistant provides support to teachers and students. This position helps students develop reading/writing/and mathematical skills in the classroom and social/behavioral support in community settings. This position also is responsible for the active supervision of students before and after school during recess and lunch and on field trips.
This position requires strong student behavior management and excellent communication with students staff and parents. The educational assistant must have strong organizational skills. The position may require the assignment of other duties as required in order to provide an education program for students.
