- 40 hours/week;benefitted

Position Summary:
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information. Communication with external contacts involves providing or giving factual information
Education/Experince:
- A minimum of a High School diploma GED Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement
- Patient care experience in a pediatric health care setting preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Medical Assistant (MA) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or other healthcare related certification OR
- One year of experience in a clinical setting providing patient careOR
- An external candidate enrolled in an approved BSN programOR
- Current JHACH employee enrolled in either an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing Practice.
- Current AHA BLS Certification
Salary Range: Minimum$16.39/hour - Maximum$25.31/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
