We are looking for a Quality Engineer with focus on securing that Quality will be Right from Start in Product Projects and Product Changes in Tumba Stockholm.
About the job
You will work with Quality in Product projects and Product changes being responsible for securing that Quality tools and methods are adopted to prevent Quality issues and mitigate Quality risks and the correct processes are implemented for phase-in of new solutions and phase out of old ones. You will cooperate with functions in Product Management and Development and with other departments in Supply Chain in Tumba and other DeLaval sites to secure that the Production organization will receive high quality and robust designs and efficient control plans will be in place internally and at external suppliers from Start of Production.
Role and responsibilities
Ensure that Quality issues are prevented already in the product development phases with proper application of Quality tools and methods in the different development process variants like new projects PCAs EAs depending on scope and complexity of specific initiatives.
Act as key player in joining and/or facilitating X-functional FMEA exercises (System-FMEA DFMEA PFMEA) and drive the implementation of resulting Process Control Plans already at Start of Production date.
Investigate Quality issues internally and externally analyse data be an expert and role model in Root Cause Analysis.
Cooperate closely with Supplier Quality Assurance and Quality engineers teams in the group and at suppliers join meetings and audits.
Drive a Lessons learned mindset and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

You have good communication skills verbal and written to convey and receive messages to and from different stakeholders. You possess a high degree of accuracy initiative and independence taking responsibility to stand for Quality in X-functional meetings and making decisions. You enjoy working as part of a team in an international environment questioning the status quo bringing an analytical and structured approach to investigating failure modes and quality risks and defining mitigating actions. With a collaborative mindset and problem solving abilities you contribute to secure Quality while driving progress within specified timelines.

This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLavals headquarters in Tumba south of Stockholm. This position is part of the Quality team and reports to the Quality Manager Tumba within the Supply Chain Global Quality organization. Traveling regularly to other DeLaval entities and external suppliers is part of the role.
