The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Cloud Engineering Data & AI team you may design develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Framework. As a Senior Associate you may guide and mentor junior engineers while navigating intricate client challenges to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using Java EJB
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project requirements
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and performance
- Mentor junior developers in practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies
- Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle
- Document technical specifications and processes
What You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree
- 4 years of experience in Java and EJB development
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- 5 years of experience in Java and EJB solutions
- Proven experience in developing multi-threaded applications
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies
- Understanding of financial applications especially payment/wires
- Knowledge of containerized deployments preferred
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs JMS and microservices
- Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
