Description

Sitehop is looking to hire an experienced Head of Sales to oversee our sales department and develop sales strategies that align with our business objectives. The Head of Sales will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team implementing effective sales processes and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in sales management a deep understanding of sales techniques and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Planning

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

Define sales objectives KPIs and performance metrics to drive accountability and measure success.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.

Team Leadership and Management

Recruit train and motivate a high-performing sales team.

Set clear sales targets and quotas and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.

Foster a culture of collaboration excellence and continuous improvement within the sales team.

Sales Process Optimisation

Implement and optimize sales processes and procedures to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.

Develop and maintain sales forecasting models and analytics to inform strategic decisions.

Ensure seamless coordination and communication between sales marketing and other departments.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.

Lead negotiations and contract discussions to close deals and achieve revenue targets.

Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns proactively

Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting

Track analyse and report on sales performance metrics and trends.

Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on sales results forecasts and pipeline status.

Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and drive revenue growth.

Strategic Partnerships and Business Development

Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to drive sales growth and market expansion.

Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to align sales strategies with product roadmap and marketing initiatives.

Represent the company at industry events conferences and networking opportunities.

Essential Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience as a Head of Sales Sales Director or similar leadership role in a startup or high-growth environment.

Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas.

Deep understanding of sales principles techniques and methodologies.

Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field; Work experience in related fields is also acceptable

Desirable

Experience in Networking or Cyber Security industry

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Proven ability to build and manage a successful sales team.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on driving results and revenue growth.

Offering a competitive package the potential for bonus and stock options and hybrid working. We are ideally seeking to hire talent within commuting distance of Sheffield but for some roles can consider UK remote first.
