About Our Opportunity:
Family Services of Greater Vancouver is just around the corner from celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2028. To celebrate this momentous occasion FSGV has embarked on a capital campaign to help secure financial sustainability for the organization for the next 100 years. The Campaign Manager will play an essential leadership role in cultivating soliciting and stewarding donors to the campaign. As a professional fundraiser the Manager works proactively and independently to grow donors loyal generosity to support FSGVs sustainable community impact.
Working within the mission vision values and person-centred philosophy of the Agency the Campaign Manager is responsible for developing and managing all activities related to a portfolio of current and prospective donors. This role will be accountable for building an active portfolio by cultivating relationships with existing individual donors identifying new prospects and implementing strategies to engage and secure commitments of both current and pledged gifts.
Reporting to and collaborating with the Director Development the Campaign Manager will make a meaningful contribution to the growth of the Agencys Fund Development program first through the capital campaign then through continued annual generosity.

Salary: MGS7 Step 1 - $85631.00 annually with step progression to $94949.40

What do you need to succeed
Education Training Experience
- 3 years of experience and demonstrated success developing and growing major giving fundraising results in a complex not-for-profit organization ideally with experience working on a capital campaign
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Experience with online fundraising platforms (Raisers Edge NXT)
- CFRE preferred
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- A systems thinker with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under shifting priorities and deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- A deep knowledge of donor relationship management
- A strategic thinker with the ability to conceptualize and think through multi-faceted problems combined with the ability to deliver results
- Able to seek out opportunities and anticipate challenges and identify strategies for successful implementation
- Actively seeks opportunities to build relationships with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and maintaining productive relationships with a diverse group of personalities including donors volunteer leaders and committee/Board members
- Will be engaging approachable diplomatic and collaborative and will thrive on a high level of interaction with others. Highly service-oriented and persuasive
- Superior written and verbal communication skills. Skilled presenter and public speaker. Can represent the organization in a professional credible and compelling manner. Active listening skills.
- Solid understanding of planned giving vehicles such as bequests gifts of securities donor-advised funds endowments life insurance annuities etc.
- Knowledge of CRA guidelines for charitable giving
