Bilingual Inventory Control Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Bilingual Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory operations in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management or warehouse operations ensuring accurate inventory control efficient processes and effective communication with a diverse team and client base. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Pay: $16.00-$17.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily inventory operations including receiving storing and distributing materials.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with company policies safety regulations and industry standards.
- Train coach and evaluate inventory staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with English and Spanish-speaking team members and clients.
- Utilize inventory management systems (IMS) to track inventory and workflow.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory management.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
- Support audits and reporting requirements as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven track record in improving inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (IMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with EDI and TMS systems.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
