This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to lead operations at an internationally recognised property in one of Africa s most beautiful island destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the lodge and hotel ensuring the highest standards of guest service
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team across all departments
Drive performance profitability and excellence across F&B housekeeping maintenance and guest services
Develop and implement strategic plans for continued growth and enhanced guest satisfaction
Ensure financial targets are met and manage budgets reporting and cost control
Uphold and implement quality standards in line with the brand s luxury identity
Maintain strong relationships with guests suppliers staff and other stakeholders
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations
Provide hands-on leadership and act as the face of the property
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 7 years experience as a General Manager within the luxury hospitality sector
International lodge or boutique hotel management experience essential
Strong financial and operational acumen
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive and solutions-oriented with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to manage in a remote island-based location
Hospitality or Business Management qualification preferred
A track record of excellence in guest satisfaction and staff development
