Job Description
Available sites:Kokomo-Darrough Chapel; Peru-South Peru Elementary
Hours: Approximately 37.5 Hours Per Week
Hourly Wage: $12.28 per hour
Benefits: Benefit Eligible Position
Responsibilities:
Assist Head Start teacher in general daily classroom activities; supervision of students at
assigned times; working individually or in small groups with students for instructional purposes. Support the overall student growth in social emotional and kindergarten readiness skills. May work in one assigned classsroom or float between rooms to provide support. Assist with serving breakfast lunch and snack daily. Monitor students on the bus as needed. Attend Head Start mandatory training follow Head Start performance standards and all requirements for state early childhood licensing and Head Start;Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold a Childhood Development Associate certificate (CDA) or higher or willing to obtain.
