The Department of Psychiatry seeks a Mentor (Case Administrator II) to work in the West Shores Educational Services District to be responsible for supervising engaging with and ensuring services for adolescents in the Adolescent Targeted Violence Prevention Program. This is a community outreach endeavor aimed at providing intensive individualized supports to students schools and communities throughout the state of Michigan.
Please note that this position engages with adolescents and their families schools and community agencies in Lake Oceana and Mason counties in Michigan. Candidates will be meeting in person with adolescents schools and families in these counties and must be willing to travel in/around this area for meetings on a daily basis.
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing one to two years of college or Associates degree program in business psychology social work criminal justice or in a related field; three to five years of related working experience in coordinating needs and services collecting information and maintaining data collection and documentation database; preparing final reports and working with partnering agencies or departments; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
