SUMMARY
The Advancement Services Manager is responsible for the implementation of the goals of Catholic education as outlined in The Holy Sees Teaching on Catholic Schools (Archbishop Michael Miller):

Position: Advancement Services Manager
General Description: Reporting to the Director of Development the Advancement Services Manager will ensure the integrity of the Veracross development database and will be responsible for overseeing all development-related data including the capital campaign The Fund For BL and all other fundraising activity.
JOB EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
General:
Manage all aspects of Veracross that serve the Advancement Office.
Maintain existent written data Policies and Procedures and in collaboration with the Director of Development create new ones to ensure data integrity and data cleansing on an ongoing basis.
Serve as the primary liaison between other Departments (Technology Business Office etc.) and Advancement to ensure ongoing communication and smooth interface between Veracross and other school data systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Development.
Gift Entry and Data Management:
Oversee collection creation and importation of constituent and gift data ensuring that Veracross is being maximized in its usage for optimal data management efficiency effectiveness and accuracy.
Design customized queries for the generation of varied reports and exports including but not limited to donor and grant reports endowed fund reports annual giving reports capital campaign reports and special project reports.
Coordinate and fulfill all Advancement data requests including but not limited to solicitation lists mailing lists event invitation lists donor analysis and financial reporting.
Oversee the generation of all listings for the Annual Report and its mailing list.
Record all incoming donations and pledges in Veracross and ensure records are accurate.
Provide required documentation to the business office for all relevant gifts pledges and reconciliations.
Prepare and send all gift acknowledgment letters tribute letters pledge reminders and tax receipt letters to donors in a timely manner.
Timely facilitate matching gift requests by donors and corporations; provide matching gift credentials and approvals on behalf of Bishop Lynch.
Prospect Research and Moves Management
Work collaboratively within the Advancement Office to create implement and oversee a prospect management system to ensure seamless identification qualification cultivation solicitation and stewardship of major gift donors and prospects.
Support prospect managers and help the Chief Advancement Officer in holding them accountable for meeting established metrics.
Assist prospect managers in managing future major gifts proposals in the development database managing proposal purpose ask amount ask date solicitors and expected gift for major gift solicitations.
Under the direction of the Director of Development or Chief Advancement Officer undertake regular initiatives to verify donor commitments statuses and intentions.
Responsible for prospect research and utilization of wealth screening to create and maintain donor profiles for utilization by frontline fundraisers.
Reporting
Under the direction of the Director of Development provide weekly monthly or annual analytical and statistical reports in support of advancement related activities.
Manage and execute all routine data reporting for the Board of Trustees and for annual benchmarking purposes (DASL INDEX Accreditation etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of Advancement Services or Database Management experience.
A bachelors degree is required.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency utilizing fundraising CRM databases; Veracross preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting fundraising data management and analysis prospect research and campaign management.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral good work ethic high organizational skills and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy of data.
Ability to work well with a high volume of work and carry out multiple and diverse tasks concurrently.
