Job Description
Paris Independent Schools are committed to fostering a culture of literacy inquiry and innovation across all grade levels. We are excited to welcome a dedicated and knowledgeable Library Media Specialist to serve our elementary middle and high schools for theschool year. This district-wide position will support library and media services across all school campuses promoting a love of reading managing library collections and collaborating with teachers to integrate digital tools and resources into instruction.
The ideal candidate will be student-centered organized and passionate about supporting literacy and research skills. Responsibilities include maintaining vibrant and functional media centers teaching library and information literacy lessons managing digital and print resources and providing instructional support to staff and students. Candidates should hold a valid Kentucky certification as a Library Media Specialist.
