Job Description

The Cyber Security Engineer III is responsible for responding to cybersecurity incidents overseeing the remediation of system vulnerabilities managing cybersecurity toolsets and ensuring systems align with the organizations security standards and compliance requirements. This role requires direct reporting to the Head of Cyber Security and collaboration with the internal IT team as well as various departments within the organization.

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety requirements and support ITRCCs safety culture
  • Monitor for security anomalies and breaches
  • Respond to security incidents efficiently with well-documented reports
  • Lead the vulnerability management program and guide remediation efforts
  • Test and verify company security controls with organized reporting
  • Manage security tools such as firewalls and vulnerability scanners
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for compliance with security standards
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and industry best practices
  • Participate in the security on-call rotation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain regular reliable attendance

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in information security
  • Broad understanding of security technologies and vulnerability management
  • Ability to prioritize remediation guidelines for system vulnerabilities
  • Valid drivers license is required
