Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a growing $5 billion Michigan-based regional bank in the search for a Small Business Lender. This is an excellent opportunity to join a community-focused institution with a strong reputation for personalized service and local decision-making. The Small Business Lender will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of small business relationships with a focus on originating new loans deepening existing relationships and providing tailored financial solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and underwrite small business loans including commercial term loans lines of credit and SBA loans
Build strong relationships with local businesses through networking and community involvement
Analyze financial statements assess risk and recommend appropriate credit structures
Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a full suite of banking solutions
Maintain a strong understanding of local market trends and business needs
Qualifications:
3 years of commercial/small business lending experience
Solid credit analysis and underwriting skills
Strong interpersonal and business development abilities
Knowledge of SBA lending preferred
Bachelors degree in business finance or related field preferred
