Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the inspection of wafer images analyzing the images to qualitatively identify wafer defects while maintaining Coherent Quality Standards
- Verify product is within customer specifications and communicate findings effectively and timely
- Take direction from and support Lead Culling team to fulfil customer orders by communicated deadline
- Responsible for the operation and light maintenance of equipment including Wafer Presenters
Bright Light Stations and Wafer Sorter Machines.
Experience/Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of production experience in semiconductor processing (Preferred)
- Strong interpersonal teaming and problem-solving skills.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results independently or working with others.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities involving external and internal priorities.
- Experience with problem analysis and resolution.
- Experience with precision measurement methods and systems.
- Ability to read and understand customer specifications and process procedures
- Set a high standard of ethics professionalism and competency
- Experience with networked PC based computer system (spreadsheets Email MRP systems)
Working Conditions
- Cleanroom working conditions.
- Closed toeshoes required.
Physical Requirements
- Good hand dexterity.
- Ability to lift 50 lb.
- Ability to wear PPE for duration of scheduled shift
Safety Requirements
