Technical Leadership-T2Job Description:
As a Global Marketing Data Lead your focus will be on our chocolate fruity and gum brands globally with key projects in the US. You will use advanced analytics and visualisation to measure the performance and effectiveness of media channels and marketing campaigns to drive overall campaign efficiency and effectiveness. This role demands a blend of stakeholder management analytical expertise strategic acumen and the ability to transform complex data into clear actionable insights. The ideal candidate will manage detailed data analysis validate new marketing analytics tools and closely collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic decisions. They should also possess expertise across various marketing verticals including traditional media social media programmatic advertising web analytics CRM and paid media.
Prior experience in the fields of Media Analytics Data Science or Strategy demonstrating the ability to derive insights offering marketing solutions. Agency experience preferred.
MMM Marketing Mix Modelling
Familiarity with traditional and digital marketing channels and tools
Experience with website measurement and tagging tools (e.g. GA/GTM) and troubleshooting tag configuration.
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Lookr Datorama plotly ggplot seaborn)
Skills:
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
Proficiency in data analytics software: SQL Python or R
Knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling techniques
Excellent communication and data presentation skills
Global regional and local stakeholder management
Communicating technical details to non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Media and marketing analytics background in the FMCG industry
Familiarity with Consumer Data Platforms (CDPs) marketing automation tools (CRM) DMPs DSPs
Effective communication abilities presenting data-driven insights that are understandable across teams including non-technical audiences.
Skilled in crafting and presenting data visualisations that depict information efficiently and drive strategic decisions and marketing effectiveness.
Foundational knowledge in statistical analytics and data science. Ability to conduct advanced analyses such as regression analysis NLP / text analysis correlation studies heatmaps and scatter plots to deepen insights into campaign effectiveness.
Understanding marketing models such as A/B testing MMM and unsupervised learning is a plus.
A deep understanding of marketing principles and strategies with the ability to apply data-driven insights to real-world brand objectives.
Experience working in the consumer goods or FMCG industry is a plus.
Marketing Mix Modelling:
Developing Market Mix Modelling capabilities at Mars Snacking will enable a true one-demand measurement and optimisation.
Analyse and validate new analytics technologies to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for Mars Snacking.
Work across domains to deliver a true one-demand analytics capability.
Employ data visualisation and reporting techniques to effectively communicate measurement results.
Utilise historical data to create benchmarks for future campaign comparisons.
Support Change management and learning agenda in a complex matrix organisation
Technical project management
New Media & Marketing Analytic tools validation
Work closely with the Global Head of Media Analytics transformation to validate and bring to life new analytical capabilities.
Present technical results to non-technical stakeholders
Work on innovative fast-passed projects
Promoting a Data-Driven Mindset
Foster an analytics and data-driven mindset across business teams.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to achieve business results through advanced analytics and data outputs from the tools.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Working closely with technical expertise in data science data engineering and DevOps to ensure any new tools & capabilities work within the Mars Wrigley ecosystem.
Align with agency partners and key stakeholders on KPIs and success metrics.
