Job Description
Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a forward-thinking Michigan credit union in search of a Director of Business Services to lead and grow its Business Services division.
In this leadership role you will oversee the development and delivery of business banking products and services including business deposit accounts and commercial lending. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who uses data-driven insights to improve member experiences and is committed to fostering a digital-first member-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Business Services department including team development performance management and departmental operations
Oversee and grow a portfolio of business members ensuring strong account management and sound credit practices
Develop and implement policies and procedures that drive efficient compliant business services operations
Drive growth by identifying and onboarding new business members and expanding existing relationships
Monitor and manage business lending activities ensuring portfolio health and risk mitigation
Serve as a strategic partner across branches and departments to deliver seamless business services
Represent the credit union professionally with business members and community partners
Qualifications:
Experience in business banking or credit union business services
Proven leadership and team development skills
Strong knowledge of commercial loans business deposit accounts and related products
Ability to develop strategy manage operations and ensure compliance
Passion for improving members financial well-being through innovative services
