You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Databricks and a solid background in automation testing to join our growing QA team. This role is a hybrid between QA data analytics and database optimization. If youre passionate about data automation and working with cutting-edge tools in a fast-paced environment we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and Selenium
Perform data analysis and ensure the integrity of data pipelines and models
Work extensively with Databricks contributing to data model validation and optimization
Collaborate with consultants and development teams to help design and validate data models
Optimize query performance in a Databricks environment
Contribute to the automation of database testing with a focus on analytics rather than traditional DBA tasks
Work closely with stakeholders to support testing around Appian workflows with awareness that Appian knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
Support QA initiatives focused on performance scalability and reliability of data-driven applications
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
56 years of relevant experience in QA with a strong focus on Databricks
Proficiency in Python and Selenium for test automation
Solid understanding of data analytics and query optimization
Experience working in QA or engineering teams focused on data models and database tools
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high delivery demands
Nice to Have:
Background in database consulting or data architecture
What You Are Not:
This is not a traditional DBA role. Were looking for someone who combines data expertise with automation testing not just someone who manages database
