Child Care Teacher
Pay: $15-$17/hr
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or Part-Time Monday-Friday 12:30 PM - 6:00 PM

The Boys & Girls Club is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Child Care Teacher to guide and nurture 3-5 year old age group as seasonal or year round in a fun engaging and supportive learning environment. If you love working with young children and want to play a key role in their early development this is the perfect opportunity for you!
As a Child Care Teacher youll plan and implement hands-on activities that spark curiosity creativity and social-emotional growth. Youll ensure each childs safety and well-being while fostering a positive learning environment. Additionally youll be responsible for transporting children safely in a club vehicle helping provide access to enriching experiences beyond the classroom.

What Youll Do:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage learning creativity and social skills.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment where children feel supported and engaged.
- Supervise and actively engage with children during all activities including outdoor play and structured learning time.
- Safely transport children in a club vehicle ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Build positive relationships with children parents and colleagues to create a strong sense of community.
- Maintain records of attendance progress and behavior ensuring compliance with licensing and program requirements.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in preschool education.
- CDA certification or enrollment in Child Care Ladder classes (preferred).
- At least one year of experience in child care youth programs or a similar role.
- Ability to attend required child care training sessions throughout the year.
