Job Description
We are currently hiring an assistant for our Regulatory and Food Scientist individuals will be responsible for but not limited to:
Building relationships with current and new customers
Assist Food Science team in making food samples from customer recipe
Validate production procedures to ensure adherence to product formulations and specifications daily
Verify preoperational sanitation through equipment inspection and environmental microbial monitoring
Evaluate and update the food safety and quality management systems
Scale up ingredient amounts and enter data into system for production
Responsible for ensuring all ingredients and supplies are in house for each item on production schedule daily
Requirements:
Proficient in all MS Office Systems
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent math skills
This is a full time position 40 hours a week Monday through Friday and some overtime.
