Job Description

This Project will be coordinated between two scientific groups Donation and transplant of organs tissues and cells group within the research line of Tissue Banking and Pharmacokinetic Nanoparticles group.

Education and qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in Sciences and Master Degree.
  • Fluency in Catalan Spanish English (business level).
Desired:
  • Additional training in Nanoscience.
  • Specific knowledge in tissue banking.

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
  • Knowledge in cell culture and fluency in molecular biology techniques.
  • Previous experience working in research groups.
  • Computer skills.
Desired:
  • Knowledge of immunohistochemistry.
  • Knowledge of Nanoparticles formulation.
  • Ability to prepare Inorganic Nanoparticle Solutions.
  • Experience in molecular biochemistry and cellular metabolism.
  • Experience in nanotechnology and inorganic nanoparticles.

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • To follow up the experimental program associated with the experimental program of the funding project.
  • Prepare and follow-up of the specimens included in the study.
  • Skillful execution of research protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members.
  • Analyze and interpret the data obtained.

Labour conditions:

  • Part-time position: 26h/week.
  • Starting date: immediate
  • Gross annual salary: 14.83509. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
