About Our School
Located in the hills of southwest Austin Texas St. Michaels Catholic Preparatory School is an outstanding co-educational Independent Catholic school serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade in Austin Texas. The Lower School is comprised of PreK 3-4th grades the Middle School houses grades 5-8 and the Upper School contains grades 9-12. Summary of Position

St. Michaels Catholic Prep seeks a full time on campus Social Sciences teacher beginning August 2025 for grades 9-12. We are searching for a dynamic innovative educator in the field of Social Sciences at the high school level including Honors or AP courses. Candidates should believe in students and their ability to grow and develop demonstrating a deep commitment to meeting the needs of diverse student learners. Candidates should show a high level of interest in collaboration and professional development. Responsibilities include teaching 4-5 sections of History and/or Social Science courses leading an advisory participating in on-going community service projects and retreats with students and fellow teachers supporting the St. Michaels writing center and an opportunity to design and teach winter term mini courses. This position is an exempt faculty position. This position is a 10-month faculty exempt position that will report to the Dean of Humanities and Head of Upper School.
