Job Description:
As a Chief Systems Engineer (CSE) the candidate work collaboratively across the engineering organization to focus on the Requirements Management Technical Baseline Creation Review and Approval Technical Roadmap Creation and aspects of System Engineering process compliance including but not limited to process artifact review and approval and Risk Management/Analysis and requirements authoring and management tasks and tools. The candidate will partner closely with Business Development teams Engineering Project teams and Engineering Discipline Team leads to ensure consistent strategy direction and alignment with the Segment Strategic Growth Plan (SGP).
Supervisory tasks include serving as the Team Leader which entails management of 8 CSEs and Requirements management/administration resources as direct reports. This team is responsible for CSE and CSA (Chief Systems Architecture) tasks on a number of different product lines and systems including the latest multichannel radios as well as a small team responsible for requirements management and administrative responsibilies centered around the DOORs requirements management tools. Supervisory responsibilities include setting annual Performance Objectives and conducting annual Performance Reviews managing RPM and allocating work assignments leading staff meetings and reporting team status to Systems Engineering management.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $130500- $242500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
