Job Description

POSITION:

Assistant Principal

Furnace Brook Middle School

STARTING DATE:

August 1 2025

SALARY:

Assistant Principal Salary Schedule

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP ORLINE OF AUTHORITY:

Reports directly to Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

MA DESE License as Principal/Assistant Principal (PreK-8 5-8 or 5-12);
Masters preferred;
Demonstrates organizational and management skills;
Knowledge of supervision/evaluation of staff;
Knowledge of the Learning Management System (Canvas) and Student Management System (Aspen) preferred;
Experience as teacher/administrator in amiddle school.
