- Assessing the extent of auto body damage through inspections
- Estimating repair and labor costs and calculating overall customer or insurance payment
- Collecting insurance estimates and resolving replacement and repair requirements
- Drafting work order after approvals and entering the order into the work management system
- Tracking the progress of repairs on individual vehicles
