Powering Progress: Strategic Leadership in Energy Contracts & Settlements
A 2% base salary increase is scheduled to become effective with the first full pay period that begins after July 1 2025.

THE POSITION
The position presents a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the electric utility industry and work with a talented team of utility professionals! The City is seeking a highly skilled analytical and innovative Management Analyst (Power Contracts & Settlements) to support the administration of energy procurement contracts settlement verification contract and regulatory compliance in a dynamic utility environment. Reporting to the Power Supply Manager this position is responsible for executing and managing power purchase agreements and other energy contracts reconciling market settlements with CAISO and counterparties and ensuring accurate reporting under Californias regulatory frameworks. The role also supports financial forecasting cost analysis REC management via WREGIS and long-term planning efforts such as the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). This position will prepare and submit regulatory reports to utility regulatory bodies at the state and federal level. This position acts as a key liaison with external agencies and internal departments maintaining contract databases validating meter and settlement data and contributing to the utilitys fiscal and operational integrity.

IDEAL CANDIDATEMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
