An Austin-based HOA management company is seeking a Community Association Manager Trainee to join their team. This role would have 6-12 months of training focusing on Texas Laws and Regulations as well as municipal and insurance requirements. This position would support the HOA community both operationally and administratively ensuring that the needs of the community are met in an efficient manner as outlined by the Board of Directors and the management company.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for Board of Directors and annual meetings by creating a meeting agenda and attending the event
- Assist with and attend community events fostering a positive relationship with residents.
- Meet with vendors to outline scope of work for community projects
- Collect bids from vendors monitor completion of projects and approve vendor payments
- Work with internal accounting team to ensure accuracy of finances reports and invoice processing
- Assist with budget creation distributing budget to Board of Directors and Finance Committee
- Conduct monthly community inspections to ensure compliance with community standards
- Handle collection of HOA fees tracking and distributing information in Excel for Board of Directors
- Administrative duties including phone calls emails and record-keeping
