Job Description

Requirements:
- Must be 21
- Experience in working with children 1 year 3 years old
- Teachers must have at minimum an active FCCPC(CDA) or Associates in Early Childhood.
- Must be able to use a computer and have data entry skills.
- Must be dependable and possess an excellent work ethic.
- Must be able to accept guidance and supervision during the work shift.
- CPR and First Aid certifications obtain within 60 days
- Must complete fingerprinting and background check
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds bend stop crouch reach sit sit on the floor crawl walk talk and have visual acuity.
- Must have experience with CLASS and/or be willing to complete all CLASS training
- A Lead Teachers responsibilities include collaborating with a team of teachers and administrators who share your love of education as they help us provide our students with the best learning experience possible
- Must have experience with Teaching Strategies Gold ()
- Create lesson plans and implement them as well as evaluate student progress
- Meet with parents to discuss the needs and goals of students
- Plan curriculum with varying developmental needs
- Create a safe and friendly environment in the childcare room.
- Give quality supervision focused attention and caring service to our members and their children.
- Organize activities appropriate for the various ages to create a fun playful and safe environment.
- Maintain a clean orderly area pick up and sanitize toys as needed.
- Maintain a tolerant and respectful environment of child and family cultures values and differences.
- Candidates must be patient flexible energetic self-motivated and creative and must work well in a team environment.
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
- Meet annual professional development requirements per state regulations
- Must complete 30 clock hours of Professional Development per year
