Description

As Material Handler II (water spider) you will be responsible for working with department personnel to make sure daily required parts are located in the work station non-conforming is processed daily help with cycle counts as needed.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager this position is based in Shreveport LA.
Major Accountability:
People
- Work with department personnel
- Work with Material Handlers & Expeditors
- Work with Team Leads & Supervisors
- Have no more than 1 current corrective action
- Must maintain less than 24 attendance points to maintain role.
Safety
- Daily inspection of any equipment thats used to move material
- Maintain 5S to ensure cleanliness and part presentation.
- Utilize hand trucks hoist powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment
Quality
- Non-conforming material is clearly identified and processed within 48 hours.
- Perform daily location audits.
- Fill carts or workstations to appropriate level of inventory
- Perform cycle counts & other inventory management functions within assigned department
Delivery
- Must be able to work overtime with little or no notice
- Must be able to move material in standard time allowed.
- Maintain parts identification throughout delivery process
- Ensure parts pick lists submitted by end of shift.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 3-5 years
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills & Abilities:
- RF Scanner
- Forklift certification
- Blueprint reading
Working Conditions:
- Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend stoop kneel and crouch
- Must be willing to work overtime with little to no notice
