Located in the South end of beautiful Lake County Florida East Ridge Middle School opened its doors in August of 2008 to over 1000 students in grades 6-8. While Florida itself is mostly flat Clermont can boast about its many hills and beautiful panoramic sites including this new middle school built high up on one of the tallest hills in the county. A booming housing market created rapid growth to our community just 20 miles west of Orlando. Just across the road from East Ridge High School the opportunities for East Ridge Middle to partner with senior high students are numerous. As a green school in the Clermont community we look forward to decades of positive community involvement.
