Job Description

An F&B Coordinator provides the F&B Department with administrative and operational support. You will beresponsible for carrying out the daily administrative activities of the Food & Beverage department with the purpose of supporting the team in the running of the operation by coordinating all information and communication to outlet managers and team members.


What will I be doing

As an Administration Coordinator you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Perform general administrative duties ie; filing sending emails typing scanning copying maintaining restaurant customers database
  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager of Food and Beverage and all F&B outlets
  • Manage and maintain General Manager of Food and Beverage calendar schedules meetings and appointments. Record transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings
  • Ensure all complaints received by phone emails and reviews are communicated to the General Manager of Food & Beverage immediately
  • Provide support to operational needs in the F&B venues whenever needed
  • Responsible for handling the Payroll using the OASYS system. Ensure payroll deadline is met accordingly
  • Deliver a high level of customer service both internally and externally
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly including telephone calls answer client/bookers questions about property facilities/services (e.g. restaurants hours of operation menus prices packages promotions entertainment and corporate partnerships etc.).
  • Perform venue site tours with potential clients and host-guest(s) at the outlets when required.
  • Ensuring all F&B menu printed and digital collaterals are up to date and in good physical condition
  • Cascade information and ensure communication is effectively passed through the department
  • Create a request for quote (RFQ) and Purchase Order (PO) through Birchstreet and ensure all orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the adequacy of F&B-related equipment or material is available at all times.
  • Responsible for ordering office supplies for the entire F&B department and ensuring the inventory.
  • Support the team to drive high SALT scores for all F&B areas.
  • Provide guidance to F&B team members

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Knowledge of hospitality
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous
  • Previous administrative experience in a fast paced environment
