As an IT Support Specialist you will manage the hardware and much of the software needs of your local branch and customer base. Your internal customers are a diverse mix of technical and non-technical individuals so you will develop your skills communicating with both areas. Your skills in developing tools and technical solutions will assist improve the branchs processes and productivity and you will have ownership of setting up of new systems and devices and will ensure that the network operates at consistently and efficiently. You are an integral member of the team that ensures the effective management of technology systems and keeps us operating efficiently.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in an IT related field troubleshooting hardware and Windows
- Strong problem solving organizational and interpersonal skills
- Very strong analytical skills (especially identifying trends and drawing conclusions based on data)
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Solid knowledge of Windows 11 Windows Server Android and iOS
- Advanced proficiency in Excel VBA Power BI and Microsoft Office 365 in general
- Fluent in both Polish and English
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end users on incidents logged in our online ticket system help requests by phone or people walking in
- Support basic level Windows server and Unix
- Take care of hardware installation (PC Server Laptop Printer)
- Support on network issues (LAN WAN Wi-Fi)
- Support the employees in the warehouse (scanners tablets automation)
- Coach and train our end users on the usage of tools applications and basic knowledge of IT (self-service)
- Perform daily checks of backups/systems as well as making sure that these checks are administered in a portal
- Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 for Infrastructure and Technology
- Manage disaster Recovery and High Availability plan for systems
- Support on solving issues with PCs Printers Laptops and Servers (Windows/Unix)
- Safeguard and improve (cyber) security and access control where possible
- Monitor system downtime and resource utilization
- Hardware Management: You will continuously manage the operational effectiveness of the branchs hardware taking control of inventory end of life ordering set up and retiring of all hardware.
- Software: You will have responsibility for troubleshooting software issues roll out of new software solutions the backup and storage of data and its security and the effective use of technical solutions that support operational performance.
- Solutions: In this role you will have the opportunity to build and develop solutions in conjunction with the operational teams that drive efficiencies into the operational processes of the branch supporting and or developing solutions that drive automation and optimization of productivity
