CAD Engineer


What can you expect
In this role you will provide support for the production in terms of generating auditing and issuing drawings for sewing in accordance with the clients specifications.

What will your responsibilities be

Design & Technical Documentation:

  • Create revise and approve CAD drawings for tailoring materials in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure all technical documentation aligns with operational instructions and engineering principles.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of design changes and revisions.

Process Planning & Coordination:

  • Develop detailed plans for all activities related to assigned design and engineering processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of design-related tasks.
  • Support the introduction of new production processes by defining technical requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Lean Integration:

  • Apply Lean tools and methodologies to enhance design efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Participate in VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) and MUCU (Machine Utilization/Capacity Utilization) activities to optimize product and process performance.
  • Propose improvements to design workflows and procedures to boost productivity and quality.

Administrative & Reporting Duties:

  • Perform administrative tasks such as daily reporting and data entry into internal systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all working procedures and internal policies related to the CAD function.

Customer Focus:

  • Understand and respond to customer expectations and CR/CSR (Customer Requirements/Customer-Specific Requirements) with urgency.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations through proactive design solutions and responsiveness


Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees

  • Technical degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in the same position
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and material
  • Experience with VAVE and DFMEA/PFMEA
  • Awareness of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency
