About the role

Are you ready to provide high-level administrative support to a new Executive General Manager and a dynamic Industry team driving high-impact events and engagement initiatives that foster long-term industry growth


This newly created role is a rare opportunity to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team as they lead game-changing initiatives and industry engagement at both national and global levels. You will be responsible for delivering and achieving the following:

  • Coordinating the activities of the Executive General Manager Industry including independently scheduling meetings maintaining the executives calendar and diary and coordinating all travel arrangements in addition to handling enquiries and re-routing urgent matters for attention in the Executives absence
  • Coordinate papers for Board and Audit Committee meetings including agenda preparation printing coordination uploading papers to the online Board portal and typing of minutes
  • Where required assist in the coordination of travel and accommodation requirements for Industry team
  • Support strategic projects by performing administrative project work involving research data collection and some analysis
  • Financial management including expenses and processing invoices
  • Demonstrate advanced administration skills by using independent judgement formatting and preparing non-routine documents such as statistical charts table and graphs
  • Maintaining and processing confidential personnel and departmental data and ensuring its security.

What will set you apart from the crowd & ensure your success in the role To succeed in this role your profile will demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Assistant or similar high-trust role
  • Excellent English language skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to foster and develop positive relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to solve problems in a positive manner
  • Ability to manage time priorities and communication for senior leadership
  • High level of professionalism discretion and emotional intelligence
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
