Job Description
Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare through user-centered research Amazon Health is seeking a customer-obsessed Senior UX Researcher to join our team and uncover insights that will reimagine the future of healthcare delivery. Youll lead in-depth studies to deeply understand the needs behaviors and pain points of our customers and translate those insights into opportunities that create transformative digital experiences. Key job responsibilities
* Lead comprehensive healthcare journey mapping and Jobs-to-be-Done research to understand clinician provider and patient needs.
* Design and execute mixed-method research studies that address sensitive healthcare topics including in-clinic patient visits central health record management and telehealth experiences.
* Inform segmentation studies and persona development specific to healthcare audiences.
* Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development and roadmaps.
* Synthesize findings from healthcare research workstreams to identify patterns and opportunities across the health experience.

* MA/MS in experimental psychology HCI design anthropology or related discipline.
* 7 years of hands-on experience with all aspects of research (study design recruiting moderation analysis reporting) with demonstrated impact.
* Experience with a variety of research methods (e.g. survey design personas remote testing lab studies diary studies concept testing benchmarking and other methods).
* Experience with synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into compelling opportunities.
* Expertise in zero to one and generative research methodologies.
* Strong understanding of healthcare privacy concerns and trust-building research methods including the handling of protected health information (PHI).
* Excellent communication presentation interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
* The ability to manage ambiguity work autonomously and multi-task in an agile environment.
* Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule including quickly turning around study plans and reports.
* Demonstrated thought-leadership with a passion for translating data into design.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
