What this opportunity involves:

We are currently seeking a Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the facilities management in a mix of Owned Properties and Leased Premises within the designated portfolio belonging to our longstanding telecommunications client.

As a Assistant Facilities Manager you will support the service delivery functions of client tenants and Facilities Managers.

Overview of the role:

  • Administer and coordinate facilities management activities
  • Coordinate facilities management tasks delegated by the Facilities Manager
  • Ensure prompt resolution of difficulties on site with minimum disruption to business-as-usual activities
  • Work with PSC and service providers to manage escalations contractor performance and client complaints
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of Maintenance Plans for properties
  • Review property inspection programs
  • Verify invoicing against contracted rates
  • Manage and monitor the status of work orders raised through Corrigo
  • Build and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be the point of contact for Facilities Management within the Entities
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S Environment and Risk Management Policies and Procedures
  • Adhere to JLLs business conduct by following guidelines procedures and strategies
  • Use and maintain property database systems
  • Complete update and maintain applicable web-based management information systems

  • Experience in facilities property management hospitality or a related field is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and confident
  • Flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing situations
  • Team player who can cooperate and work well with others
  • Exhibits honesty and trustworthiness
  • Ability to handle multiple issues concurrently within tight operational deadlines
  • Knowledge or exposure to building/facilities management is advantageous
