About the Job:

Were looking for a digitally fluent community-obsessed temporary coordinator to help scale and manage Rent the Runways most loyal audiences-cross ambassador programs digital platforms and IRL events. Youll play a key role in building relationships running day-to-day operations and keeping our members engaged and celebrated.

This role is perfect for someone who lives online understands how to nurture community online as much as in real life and is excited by the power of connection. Youll work across multiple programs- both digital and city ambassadors-to drive meaningful engagement support in the coordination standout events and support pilots that shape our future of RTR community.

This is a temporary full-time role running from now through August 15 based out of our Brooklyn office.

What Youll Do:

Digital Community Management

• Platform Fluency: Experience managing communities on Instagram (Stories Lives DMs Highlights) and community tools like Cirqle/CreatorIQ/ShopMy Slack Instagram Broadcast Discord or other channels
• Content Planning: Ability to program and schedule digital content and interactive activities that drive daily and weekly engagement.
• Tone & Voice Execution: Skilled at writing engaging community posts prompts and announcements that match brand voice and energize niche communities.
• Sentiment Tracking: Ability to monitor community vibes flag issues early and cultivate an inclusive and positive environment.
• Digital Communication: Strong digital comms etiquette-knows how to talk to members reply in DMs and build trust online.

Ambassador & Member Relationship Building

• Relationship Management: Comfortable being a approachable consistent point of contact for ambassadors and top-tier community members.
• Talent Sourcing: Experience identifying and vetting local influencers micro-creators or superusers for program participation.
• Onboarding Coordination: Ability to onboard members or ambassadors clearly and efficiently-via email Zoom or community tools.
• Operational Follow-Through: Keeps programs moving-tracks signups confirms deliverables and ensures participation doesnt drop.
• Feedback Loops: Can collect and synthesize anecdotal and qualitative feedback to shape future iterations.

Program Operations & Logistics

• Detail Orientation: Comfortable tracking multiple timelines checklists and program components at once (e.g. onboarding weekly challenges rewards fulfillment).
• Vendor Coordination: Experience liaising with third-party platforms and vendors to manage fulfillment or tech (e.g. Circle gifting platforms).
• Process Building: Ability to support the creation of scalable SOPs for repeatable programming and activations.
• Data Hygiene: Comfortable updating tracking documents participation logs and basic reporting for internal use.
• Assess and Report on the effectiveness of ambassadors programs and events through a reporting framework supplied.

Pilot Program Support

• Test & Learn Mentality: Thrives in early-stage programs with fluid structure; willing to experiment and iterate quickly.
• Pairing Logic/Matching: Understands how to group or match members thoughtfully (e.g. for the Buddy Test).
• Early CX Thinking: Comfortable supporting ideas that may evolve into larger product app or lifecycle features.

About You:

• 12 years of experience in community management influencer/ambassador programs or social media.
• Deep understanding of digital culture-Instagram group chats Reddit threads TikTok trends and more.
• Ability to implement and quickly recognize hyperlocal trends for both digital and IRL programming
• Willingness to work some nights/weekends for events or activations.
• Executive presence; you have strong interpersonal skills and confidence speaking with directing and supporting both internal teams and external vendors/producers/platforms
• Excellent written communication skills; bonus if youve managed social channels email marketing or community platforms.
• Highly organized and proactive-you thrive on checklists timelines and follow-through.
• Relationship builder who genuinely enjoys connecting with people.
• Office centric work - our corporate employees and technical leaders have the option to work remotely on Fridays in accordance with Company policies.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $29.00 per hour. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held.
