Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a tech savvy and organized dispatcher to join our team. Our dispatchers coordinate pick-up and delivery of freight accurately and efficiently. They utilize our companys technology system to process and close driver trips while supporting the operations team with administrative tasks.
Shift:Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
Pay: $19/hour
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Plans and implements methods and procedures for efficient pickup and delivery of freight.
- Verifies accuracy of pick-up orders placed by Customer Service Representatives.
- Maintain and facilitate communication with drivers to ensure optimum operational efficiency.
- Communicates with Operations and Customer Service Representative personnel to resolve operational and freight issues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- At least 18 years of age
- Able work irregular hours when necessary.
- Knowledge of the city/urban literacy
- Detailed oriented analytical and time management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
