Job Description
ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. All applicants must be professing Christians and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of Abilene Christian University while employed by the university.
- Coaching and Teaching student-athletes
- Assist in all aspects of Recruiting
- Student-athlete development
- Social Media Coordinator
- Assist in fundraising efforts
- Other duties as directed by Head Womens Golf Coach
A. Coaching and Teaching student-athletes
- Teach and instruct principles skills and techniques of the game
- Teach and Develop mental skills of golf
- Teach and Develop spiritual and relational goals for golf student-athletes
B. Recruiting
- Evaluate potential golf student-athletes
- Recruit potential golf student-athletes via mail-outs phone contacts and personal visits on and off campus
- Establish and develop relationships with high school coaches instructors recruiting services and other sources of potential golf student-athletes
C. NCAA Regulations
Responsible for understanding NCAA rules for yourself and your student-athletes. Compliance with NCAA rules is of the utmost importance at Abilene Christian University. As a member of the athletics department staff it is expected that you will have a full understanding of the NCAA rules that pertain to your position. It is also expected that you will comply with all NCAA rules and if you become aware or have reasonable cause to believe that a violation of a rule has occurred you will immediately report it to the Director of Athletics or his/her designee.

- Ability to work and interact well with all levels of staff faculty and administration
- Endure harsh weather conditions
- Able to demonstrate techniques used in golf
- Able to adapt to long extended hours of travel and drive team van long distances
