Job Description
Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Experience Strategy & Graphic Design Internship will help to visualize new and innovative experiences for our Universal Guests and Team Members. Incorporating the latest in emerging consumer technology and industry trends they will assist in the strategic vision and communication of future initiatives. From experience mapping to UXUI the intern will work cross-functionally across multiple business segments to help articulate future concepts. The role will provide exposure to blue-sky brainstorming executive presentations strategy and vision documentation artistic storyboarding and other pre-visualizations of new digital products and experience initiatives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates visual assets to support experience strategies and alignment.
- Assists development of PowerPoint presentations illustrating complex ideas through consumable graphics and other story-vignettes.
- Develops initial mockups of digital user interfaces for concept purposes only.
- Leverages a variety of digital mediums to better plan communicate and workshop new immerging industry entertainment and travel trends.
- Assist with experience testing activations and implementations.
- Create time-based assets to help provide more dynamic context to digital and technical experiences
- Depict (or model) three-dimensional space for environment planning and on-site activations
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Experience Design Art & Illustration 3D/Animation Motion Graphics UXUI Interactives & Gaming Architecture Graphic Design Themed Entertainment Theme Park Design Advertising or similar.
- Background in Design Art Illustration Modelling or similar preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of 3D Modeling Software.

- This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
