Your role and responsibilities

  • Work alongside lead EHE Consultants and EHE Advisors to contribute to the local authorities duties for EHE children including safeguarding children and young people.
  • Undertake processes to prioritise initial identification of cases.
  • Manage a caseload of families ensuring that policy and procedures are followed.
  • Take a leading role in managing maintaining and sharing data.
  • Provide administrative services to the EHE teamand communicate effectively with a range of stake holders.

You will need

  • A relevant qualification such as NVQ3 or the equivalent level of knowledge or experience.
  • Good standard of literacy numeracy and excellent use of IT skills.
  • Good organisational skills and be able to prioritise a demanding caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working within EHE would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in carrying out specialist administrative procedures.
  • A good understanding of Elective Home Education process and procedures

You will be part of a small and friendly team of EHE consultants and advisors working to carry out the statutory duties of the Local Authority to ensure all children have access to a suitable and efficient education.
