Catering Assistant
Location: The Cherwell Hospital Banbury
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Full-time
Salary: Depending on experience Benefits
Summary:
The Cherwell Hospital is located in Banbury hospital has been designed to combine an exceptional standard of patient accommodation with the technical equipment and facilities that modern medicine demands. This Hospital has a 32-bed inpatient unit consisting of single or twin rooms a surgical day case facility and a new Ophthalmic Suite. The Hospital is equipped to undertake a large range of procedures treatments and investigations covering a number of specialties from Orthopaedics to Ophthalmology.
The role:
The Cherwell Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our Hospitality Team. As a Catering Assistant you will be part of a team who ensure the preparation and delivery of a food and beverage service to patients.
The Catering Assistant will be responsible for the service of all food and drink to the patients on the wards including managing dietary requirements. Additional tasks will consist of the washing of cutlery & dishes replenishing our hot drinks machines and explaining the daily menus across all meals.
You will be part of a team of Catering Assistants who are fundamental in ensuring that all work is carried out in a hygienic and methodical manner and that standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital are in line with our policies.
