Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Purpose:
The role of the Financial Analyst is to ensure that accurate revenue and business unit reporting in conformance with Corporate and group policies and procedures. The analyst must be able to interface with commercial business units and operations finance to ensure integrity of the data.
Primary Duties:
- Responsible for building 5-year Revenue projection for the Customer Business Units
- Prepare account reconciliation including analyzing and resolving any variances.
- Supports with Financial information for Capital requests.
- Maintain and liaise with the commercial team for Revenue and ROS projections
- Support the controller with the budgeting and forecasting of all SG&A groups and facilities group.
- Support all Purchase Orders activity i.e. PO creation and resolution with BBC and/or requestor open POs activity for accruals timing on spend
- Support the month/quarter/year end activities as necessary.
- Support the preparation of annual budget deliverables.
- Support internal and external audit activities as necessary.
- Preparation of various finance analysis relative to business performance
- Fixed Assets requests
- Adhere to US GAAP Adient policies and SOX requirements
- Support ad-hoc requests.
Job Specifications:
- Four Year College Degree (Finance or Business desired)
- 0 -3 experience as a financial analyst or previous internship experience
- Prior experience in the Automotive Industry a plus.
- Experience with MS excel required.
- Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP would be an asset.
- Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical/problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
