Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to support mission-critical network operations. Youll be responsible for maintaining network infrastructure troubleshooting outages and assisting with security authorizations while contributing to a dynamic team environment at our customer location in Suitland MD.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain network infrastructure including routers switches and physical patching on unclassified bi-lateral and multi-lateral environments.
- Monitor and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal network availability.
- Troubleshoot and isolate network outages providing prompt event notifications.
- Assist with Authorizations To Operate (ATOs) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
- Diagnose and resolve network performance escalations.
- Support departmental projects with technical expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI
- Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience or a Masters degree and 2 years of experience. Additional years of experience trainings or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline (e.g. Security CE) or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Active CCNA certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- CISCO configurations using EIGRP BGP SNMP TCP/IP OSPF VLANs VPN NAT GRE IPSEC.
- Data packet capture traffic analysis and vulnerability remediation.
- OSI model and multi-protocol routing including VRF VPN EIGRP BGP OSPF VPLS.

Pay Range $72150.00 - $130425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
