Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in computer science software engineering or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Strong customer service focus interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Experience with C# JAVA C or similar object-oriented programming language and SQL language experience with MS SQL or other RDRMS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and enhance existing applications using PeopleCode SQR SQL C# JAVA and other PeopleSoft tools and IDE/programming languages and create related functional/technical documentation.
- Provide technical and business analysis to support requested applications/modifications.
- Answer helpdesk calls and assist end users with software-related issues.
- Attend departmental and user-related meetings and collaborate in teams for software development.
- Other duties and special projects assigned and directed by the President and/or the designee.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of computer applications principles practices and procedures of state-of-the-art data processing.
- Be capable of understanding and following moderately complex instructions and collaborate effectively throughout the College community.
- Must have the ability to learn new methods procedures and operations.
- Skills in analyzing systems writing code to modify integrate and maintain computer applications.
- Skills in compiling testing debugging and documenting applications.
- Working knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript and AJAX is also desirable.
