Job Description
2025-2026 Open Coaching Positions Include:
- Head Track Coach(May be combined with Cross Country Coach Position if applicable)
- Head Cross Country Coach(May be combined with Track Coach Position if applicable)
- Assistant Varsity Football Coach (Possibility of a Coordinator Position)

** Coaching stipends will be negotiated **1. Plan and Conduct Practices:Organize and lead effective training sessions that develop athletes skills fitness teamwork and sportsmanship.
2. Teach Sport-Specific Skills: Instruct students on the rules techniques and strategies of the sport.
3. Promote Sportsmanship and Character Development: Model and instill values such as discipline respect perseverance and teamwork.
4. Ensure Athlete Safety:Monitor physical conditions provide proper equipment and enforce safety protocols to prevent injuries.
5. Supervise Athletes: Maintain supervision during practices games travel and other team-related activities.
6. Communication: Maintain open communication with students parents school staff and administration regarding schedules expectations and progress.
7. Maintain Equipment and Facilities: Oversee the care inventory and organization of uniforms gear and practice/game areas.
8. Promote Academic Success:Encourage athletes to maintain academic eligibility and balance school responsibilities.
9. Follow School and League Policies: Adhere to school district rules league regulations and eligibility requirements.Qualifications
1. Knowledge of the sport and coaching techniques.
2. Experience in playing the sport preferred but not required.
3. Leadership and communication skills.
4. CPR and First-Aid Certification Required (May be obtained before the start of the season)
5. Pass the appropriate background checks.
6. Additional annual training may be required.Additional Information
REPORTS TO: Athletic Director under the supervision of the Principal
EVALUATION: Performance of coaching duties will be evaluated annually by the Athletic Director and/or the Principal.
