About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and language-proficient Swedish Content Moderator to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing monitoring and moderating user-generated content to ensure it complies with our community guidelines and legal requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe respectful and engaging environment for our Swedish-speaking users.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and moderate user-generated content (text images videos) in Swedish. Evaluate reports of inappropriate content and take appropriate actions based on internal policies. Ensure compliance with platform rules local laws and community guidelines. Escalate complex or sensitive issues to relevant teams as necessary. Provide feedback and contribute to the development of moderation guidelines and best practices. Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Stay updated on current events and cultural trends in Sweden to better understand context and nuance.
Requirements:
Native-level proficiency or C2 in Swedish and good command of English. Strong understanding of internet culture social media and digital content trends in Sweden.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience in content moderation customer service or a related field is a plus.
Comfortable viewing potentially sensitive or disturbing content (with mental health support provided).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in content moderation trust & safety or online community management.
Familiarity with content policies and legal frameworks relevant to digital platforms in Sweden.
Knowledge of additional Nordic languages is a plus.
