Job Description
Duration: 6 months to 1 year
As a DevSecOps Engineer you will work closely with the DevOps team to support the organizations software development and deployment processes. You will assist in implementing and maintaining the infrastructure automation and tools necessary for efficient software delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development and a passion for learning and applying DevOps principles and practices. The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for building maintaining and enhancing organizations software development and deployment processes. Primary focus will be on automating and streamlining our operations bridging the gap between development and operations teams and driving the adoption of DevOps best practices. DevOps engineers shall support solution architect in automating the solution delivery and assist in aligning the automation with the delivery processes and solution design to achieve the optimal outcome focusing on time cost and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps or related role with progressively increasing responsibilities and leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Proficiency in continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins GitLab or CircleCI.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Huawei AWS Azure or GCP) and infrastructure as code concepts using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with monitoring logging and alerting systems such as Splunk ELK Stack or Prometheus.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of networking security and system administration concepts.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies is a plus.
